Vladimir Igorevich Rolov, photojournalist. Born in the South Urals in 1953. In 1975 graduated as civil engineer and worked in his specialty until 1980. 1980 – 1982: photojournalist of the "Soviet Trans-Urals" newspaper, Kurgan, Russia. 1982 – 1985: staff correspondent of the "Soviet Russia" newspaper in Siberia and the Far East. 1985 – 1988: Deputy Head of the Illustration Department of the newspaper "Soviet Russia", Moscow Vladimir has lived in Germany since 1989. Until 2016 he worked as a medical photographer in eye medicine (retinal research), since 2016 he has been a freelance photographer. Author of several books.
